Welcome to my site!
This site exists to showcase my web design abilities. My idea with creating this site was to provide a site that prospective customers could visit to see what I am capable of and browse some of my previous work.
I am going to use the site as a way of showcasing various web site solutions so that customers can view them all in one place and can see what services I am able to provide.
So thus far I have implemented the following:
- A website written to the W3C Standards in HTML/CSS
- A website that uses a home-made Content Management System (CMS) written in PHP using a MySQL database
- Features such as a News section and a Comments section
- A Contact Me page
- A User Authentication system to segregate content by user type:-
- A customer/private section for demonstrations
- An Administration area for use by ME to update every aspect of my site's content
There may be some other solutions which I will implement on the site and I believe it will give visitors a good idea of the different technologies and solutions available to them for their particular needs.
